Election Day is still a few weeks away, but now's the time to register to vote and to make sure as many Yalies as possible do the same. If you're interested in helping to register new voters on Old Campus, sign up for the Wednesday's voter registration drive by e-mailing rachel.plattus@yale.edu.



Tuesday, October 3, 2006 - Dems Meeting: Meet Martin Looney, CT Senate Majority Leader

Tuesday, October 3rd -- 9:00 p.m. -- LC 101.

The Yale College Democrats will host State Senator Martin Looney, the Majority Leader of the CT State Senate for a discussion on politics and policy in Connecticut and a preview of the Yale College Dems' non-election year activities.

Note that this will be the Dems' weekly meeting for the week of October 1st. Note the special day, time and location.

If you're looking for an easy way to help out Democratic candidates this fall, then sign up for phonebanking on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night. Spend just a few hours talking with voters and encouraging them to get out to vote for US Senate candidate Ned Lamont and Congressional candidates Diane Farrell and Joe Courtney.
