Tuesday, February 14, 2006 - Help Rebuild New Orleans Over Spring Break!

Do you want to help with Katrina Relief work over Spring Break? Do you want to help people rebuild their communities while seeing the disaster that Katrina created first hand? Project Opportunity is working with Senator John Edwards and the Center for Promise and Opportunity to provide spring break trips to New Orleans for Yale College students. The trip will be in the second week of spring break. Starting dates are flexible, but the trip will last at minimum from Wednesday, March 15 to Sunday, March 19. All costs and arrangements are taken care of once students are in New Orleans, and students will only be responsible for travel costs (with options for fundraising available). The president's domestic wiretapping program has been making headlines, so come hear more about the ongoing debate when Dakota Rudesill speaks at tonight's meeting. Currently at the Yale Law School, Mr. Rudesill has worked as a defense consultant and a professional Senate staff member on national security.
