Comments: College Republicans Not Great with Math

Nate, have you sent this letter in to the YDN?

On second thought... why argue with this guy? If the Yale Republicans feel like coming out and saying that they're opposed to this tax cut, on the grounds that it hurts the rich, let them!

Anyone remember the Drexel Republicans last year? During a counter-protest (didn't realize Republicans did that!), they were caught on camera yelling "Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Social Security's got to go!" This Bert guy is doing the same thing! Why argue with someone who's hurting his cause more than helping it?!

For the record, to my knowledge the College Republicans aren't opposed to the EITC...in fact, I've been talking to their president about it, and he has been supportive thus far. This guy sounds like he's really out to lunch, but at least he's eating alone...

Oh, and by the way. I checked this Bert's guy's facebook profile, which Nate alluded to...he quotes Gordon Gekko in his "favorite quotes" section, the famous "Greed is good" quote. Clearly, somebody missed the whole point of "Wall Street"...
