Wednesday, January 24, 2007 - See Ned Lamont speak!
Want to relive the glory of the 2006 Senate primary? Then go to the YPU debate on Wednesday and watch Ned Lamont argue that Congress should force Bush to end the Iraq War. Should be a good way to regain some of the optimism lost the night before during the State of the Union, until you remember who is president and who isn't.
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 - Collect signatures for a statewide EITC petition!
The College Democrats' EITC lobbying campaign is back! Help us collect signatures for the Earned Income Tax Credit Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the dining halls. We're working in conjunction with organizations around the state as a part of a major lobbying drive and the petitions will be presented to the Governor and the State Legislature. So basically, it's kind of a big deal. Contact benjamin.shaffer@yale.edu for details.
Tuesday, January 23, 2007 - Come watch the State of the Union!

Come for the speech, come for the food, come for the beverages, come for Jim Webb's response, or come so you can see Nancy Pelosi sitting next to Dick Cheney for an hour. Be there.
