You've worked hard for a Democratic victory, and now it's time to celebrate. The party starts as soon as the polls close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night. Just follow the signs to the Morse TV Room, and join as we watch the results come in from across the country.



Tuesday, November 7, 2006 - Be a Paid Poll Worker on Election Day!

Tuesday, November 7th -- 5:15 a.m.-8 p.m.

Many of you are already busy with campaign work, but if you're looking for another way to get involved you can sign up to be a poll worker on Election Day. Poll workers will be required to be at the polling place all day from 5:15 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7 and must attend a special meeting on Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m. You'll be paid between $110 and $140 for your time! Whether you can only spare a few hours between classes or can take the whole day off, there's plenty that you can do to help Democratic candidates win back Congress on Tuesday. Just drop by our Election Day headquarters in Durfee E21 anytime during the day for instructions and assignments, and e-mail eric.kafka@yale.edu to sign up for times. We'll be working all day to get out the vote on campus, so stop by whenever you're free.

With polls opening in just under 24 hours, we need your help tonight to get out the vote and make sure Yalies show up at the polls tomorrow. We'll be leaving from our regular meeting place to go poster and chalk all over campus.
