This year, the Dems are organizing a team for the Relay for Life, an event that benefits the American Cancer Society and its efforts to fund research, education, advocacy and patient service programs. " Francine Busby is running to replace the recently convicted Republican Duke Cunningham. The special election to fill her seat is scheduled for April 11th -- two weeks from now! Come to a Saybrook Master's Tea with Barry Crimmins, Air America Radio writer for Randi Rhodes. Barry got his start in Boston's stand-up comedy scene of the 1980s, where he was a founder of two comedy clubs, The Ding Ho and Stitches. He has made countless television appearances on everything from The NBC Nightly News to The HBO Young Comedians Special to The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. In 2004, he toured with A. Whitney Brown to Rock the Vote.
