Come hear Yale Law School professor Akhil Amar speak about the confirmation process for John Roberts and what it means for the future of the Supreme Court. With two vacancies on the Court, the nominees who are appointed will shape the direction of the Court for years to come, so make sure to come out and learn more about this important issue.

Monday, September 26, 2005 - Endorsement Voting for the Ward 1 Aldermanic Race

Monday, September 26 -- 7:45 p.m. -- Outside of the JE Common Room

If you are an active member of the Yale College Democrats, you are eligible to place an endorsement vote for the Ward 1 aldermanic race. Voting to endorse will start at 7:45 p.m. tonight outside of the JE Common Room, before our regular weekly meeting. If you believe you are an active member (meaning you have attended at least 3 meetings over the past year) but have not yet received an e-mail notification, e-mail alissa.stollwerk@yale.edu.

If you cannot vote in person and need an absentee ballot, please e-mail alissa.stollwerk@yale.edu. Absentee ballots will be sent before 9 a.m. Monday morning and are due by 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
