Described as “guiding the battles of the women’s rights movement” by The New York Times, Marcia Greenberger is the founder and Co-President of the National Women's Law Center. The creation of the Center 30 years ago established her as the first full-time women's rights legal advocate in Washington, D.C. A recognized expert on sex discrimination and the law, Ms. Greenberger has participated in the development of key legislative initiatives and litigation protecting women's rights, particularly in the areas of education, employment, health and reproductive rights. She has been a leader in developing strategies to secure the successful passage of legislation protecting women and counsel in landmark litigation establishing new legal precedents for women, and is the author of numerous published articles.

How do decisions by federal judges affect your life? How do they influence the environment, civil rights, abortion, disability rights, and protections for workers? What is the ‘nuclear option’? Come to tomorrow's teach-in at Yale Law School and find out the answers to these questions and how you can get involved in the process by which federal judges are selected. Featured speakers will include Professors Jack Balkin, Deborah Cantrell, and Judith Resnik of Yale Law School and Erica Swanson, field director for judicial nominations at the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights.
