Americans for Informed Democracy (AID), a non-partisan educational organization at the Yale Law School, is proud to announce a major upcoming panel discussion, "In Search of Justice and Accountability: Legal Remedies for Victims of Torture and Genocide in the 21st Century." This prestigious event will feature several remarkable and accomplished speakers, including Professor Andrea Bianchi from Institut Universitaire de Hautes Etudes Internationale Geneva, Steven Schneebaum of Greenberg Traurig LLP, international human rights attorney Dr. Terri Marsh of Justice for Falun Gong, and Professor William Aceves, Director of the International Legal Studies Program at California Western School of Law.

Tonight's meeting features members of the Judicial Nominations Project, a coalition of undergraduates and law school students who oppose extremist judicial nominations. Learn about the detrimental effect objectional judicial nominations can have on public education, personal freedoms, equal opportunity, women's rights, civil rights, and the environment, and come be a part of the grassroots movement to stop President Bush from stacking the courts with right-wing extremists.
