Tuesday, February 22 -- 8:00 p.m. -- Sudler Hall (WLH 201)
Are you frustrated that Yale's financial aid policy simply doesn't match up to Harvard's? That some students are forced to take extra jobs in order to afford Yale? Then on Tuesday night, join members of the Undergraduate Organizing Committee in asking questions about economic diversity, student financial burden, and transparency and accountability of the financial aid office – problems identified by hundreds of Yale students -- at President Levin's open forum, half of which will be devoted to questions about current financial aid policies. The Undergraduate Organizing Committee’s reform platform, which has been endorsed by the YDN, is available on the UOC website: http://www.yaleuoc.com, and you can contact them by e-mailing rounds@gmail.com.
The open forum is presented by the Yale College Council.

Tuesday, February 22, 2005 - Opportunities for Yale College Democrats Seniors: Jobs for Social Change
Are you a senior who is searching for something to do after graduation? The state Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs) are a nation-wide network of state-based public interest advocacy groups. This year they are hiring 150 graduating college students to determine where this country is going: to solve our energy problems; to protect our national forests; to reform the campaign finance system; to clean up our air; to safeguard individuals from identity theft; and to make an impact on many other public interest issues.
For more information on this opportunity, check out the website at http://www.pirg.org/jobs or e-mail joshz@calpirg.org. If you are interested in interviewing, please submit your resume through Career Services' e-recruiting system for the February 22 on-campus interviews.
