Monday, February 7, 2005 - Dems Meeting: "A New Campaign"

Monday, February 7 -- 8 p.m. -- Branford Common Room

The Kerry Campaign may be over, but that doesn't mean that the campaign for our values ends! The Yale College Democrats are still fighting for the progressive ideals that make our country great, so if you are looking for a chance to effect change on issues such as gay marriage, public financing of elections, paper trails for electronic voting, and stem cell research, be sure to come to tonight's meeting. Join our campaign for these issues both on campus and in the legislature.

Monday, February 7, 2005 - Mayor DeStefano's State of the City Address

Monday, February 7 -- 7 p.m. -- City Hall
You've seen the president's State of the Union address; now's your chance to hear New Haven's Mayor DeStefano give us his update on the State of the City. The Ward 1 Democratic Committee will be walking students from campus over to City Hall for the speech. If you would like to join them, be sure to meet at Phelp's Gate at 6:40 p.m. And don't worry -- you'll still be able to make it back in time for the Dems meeting!
